Author Micro Biography
Dallin
H. Oaks (1932- )
is an American attorney, jurist, educator, author, public
speaker and religious leader. He was formerly a professor of the
University of Chicago law school, a justice on the Utah
Supreme Court, and president of Brigham Young University. He is
currently a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is recipient of
the Lee Lieberman Otis Award for Distinguished Service from the Federalist Society and the
Canterbury Medal from the Becket Fund for Religious Freedom.
